If you sometimes find yourself wide awake at 3 am, your blood sugar levels could be to blame.

If you have a high-carb, low-fat dinner (like pasta), you can spike your blood sugar. Which then dips a few hours later, releasing adrenalin.

Try this:

  • 🥜 A tablespoon of a natural nut butter before bed

Healthy fats help slow the breakdown of carbs and curb blood sugar spikes.

I've been trying it for the last month. And it's helping:

(From my SleepCycle profile: nut butter before bed improves my sleep score by 5%)

I find it can also help delete late-night sugar cravings and feeling flat when you wake up (both can be a cause of low blood sugar).
